Some advice please

Hey guys, im totally new to growing my own herb so im still a little clueless on how everything works

Let me start out by saying that I have a few chronic seeds 'germinating' right now

I am going to build a box to grow my plants indoors and I made a quick picture to illustrate what its going to look like



As you can see the top half is adjustable (the sticks fit into the round sockets and thats what keeps the top half up) so as the plants get bigger the light can move further away

My only problem is I dont really know how big the roots will get and how much space I need for each plant more or less, so indirectly, I need to know how big to make the box ?

What kind of strain
what is the medium
whats the lights you are using
what is the box made out of
where is the box located, can it be vented easily, can you have a CO2 emitter inside
what are you looking for as far as yield
not much information on your part...do more research before you waste money trying to grow.

depends on how many plants you wanna put in there, my advise would be to use separate pots, just think about it this way...what is one of your plants gets sick and with them being all in the same container there is a chance that they would all get sick make them that much harder to remedy.

Oh yeah I forgot to add, I only want 4 plants in the box. Im going to be growing the plants inside my apartment and I dont really want the plants to stand there for everybody to see. And yeah im sorry if my research seems so little but i only started learning about planting yesterday so my overall knowledge on growing herb is still pretty shit but i thought best way to learn is through experience right ?
