It's my little "Costa Rica". I have over 300 different kinds of plants in my yard. It would take me a week to photograph them all. I collect seeds from all over the world. The third pic is my little helper "Jemima". She has no idea that she is a chicken, and she is my constant companion. She likes to take little "samples" of my mj, but it doesn't seem to mind it! Thanks for the compliments!

damn cindy...300 different plants? that's not a garden; that's a nursery. lol. you named your hen after pancakes? haha. that's awesome. after the rainy season i'm gonna look into getting more flowers in the garden too. i'd like to have some more color. i'm gonna get rid of the 2 grow boxes i built (4x10) and also the compost box (6x14). i'll build a smaller compost bin in the corner and i'm going to build some raised beds. i want to move them cause they are in areas that get great light so i might as well have grass over there. i have a few areas that are too shaded by the big trees for grass to grow so those are more logical places to put my raised beds and my compost. should be a fun project come dec/jan.

You have a beautiful garden, cindysid! I don't get to grow tropicals here in Texas! I have to find plants that can survive our dry heat!!

I lived in Arkansas for many years, I know what you're talking about! Thanks for the compliment. This is really the worst time for my garden. It is really dry since the rainy season hasn't started yet.

Mighty impressive. Id say you have a strong green thumb if you didnt no that already. We can grow almost anything down here in the Tri County area. I work at a greenhouse along the way, if you ever need cuttings or seeds shoot me a p.m. Id love to help out a fellow RIU'er. Plus I can see you'd do wonders with them. WE have almost any vegetable you can think of and plenty of flowers. Some pretty rare
