someone help my friend

ok so i dont know the answer because im in cali and im legal
but my friend just moved over here from ny so he cant get a card till a while
but he already has 8 plants in flower and he lives a couple blocks by me and hes staying with his parents til he gets back on his feet
and he asked me to ask if he has his 8 plants in his backyard and his neighbor sees them and calls the cops will they come 4 8 plants?
also if he does get caught what are the fines
do his parents get the trouble?

If your friend is under 18 he will be charged as a minor. His parents might get some heat but that depends on the police. And yes cops will come for the plants. Police have to respond to any 911 emergency call. If you are a card holder and legal Med marijuana patient, I highly sugguest moving the plants before the cops get there. If you do that then its all hear say... Like your friends parents word against the conservative nosy neighbors.

point is that cali law is designed to keep CARDHOLDERS safe. non-cardholders are considered to be criminals if they're caught with weed.

the DEA or local PD may very well seize property, including house, cars, any cash on site, FYI. it's up to the arresting officers if they want to seize property.
