Son of a spider mite!

Hey all, been battling these pests now. I had 4 plants(2 clone, 2 from seed). I first noticed them on the clones and freaked out before doing much research and sacrificed the worst looking plant(clone). Now I have 3 left and the last remaining clone is still getting these punks. I've been spraying and I'm pretty sure their life is miserable/barely livable. But I was wondering why my 2 plants from seed show no signs of spider mites? I'm assuming they migrated in on the clones, but never made it to my others. Are some plants more resistant? I've got the problem child plant set aside, not touching the other 2. Just started flowerin 2 days ago. Think my 2 clean plants will remain that way? I had 10 weeks of vegging and there's no little spots on the leaves showing mites were feasting. Just on that damn clone.
