Space

I am planning on buying a 4x4' grow tent I have 2 sets of 400w lights/ballast and I want to utilize the space as best as possible with only 1 cool tube and 1 filter, to have a veg/mother space and a flower space..any ideas? also, is 400w lights strong enough for 4x4x6.5'h? if worse comes to worse I can always buy another tent but only have the one cool tube (i figure no filter in the veg tent is okay) but yea..anyone with ideas around this or completely out of the box ideas let me know thanks

Sounds like you are on the right track man...vegg still smells but nothing like flower in most cases so one filter is cool for flower. Everyone's grow is diff though so try it out, you might change it down the road or find something you like better.

As for your lights, I don't think you'll want to put 2 400W in the same 4x4 tent, that's gonna be a shit ton of heat coming off of the one with no cool tube.

yes, I used a 400w in a similar space (4x4x10) and it worked. I eventually got a second 400w and I saw an improvement so more light won't hurt, but I wasn't producing bad bud before I added the second one.
