Spammers at the all time worst?

Cmon RIU MODS get these dicks out of here, you guys should be monotoring the forums and it seems like they are posting and posting and its startint to piss me off!!! I enjoy the feature where on the right you can see the "new posts" but seems lately they are filled with dipshit spammers

need a new mod? i dont mind working from home as long as the pay is decent ill get rid of these asshats

As a new mod, I can tell you I don't have the ability to ban spammers in my patch ... or do any more than report them elsewhere. I've been amazed at the flood of spam today ... but I've been issued a duster when I need a mop. I'll bet admin is a bit flooded right now. cn

<add> I might have spoken up late. Just in these last minutes it looks like this forum got some mop-up.

do you know what's even worse imo?? people starting threads about the spam threds.. just my $.02

we all know we have been being heavily spammed the last few days, but only the mod of that section has the power to delete spam threads in that section.. for instance, cannabineer and i are both powerless to do anything about the spam posts in the general growing section..

i must have deleted a good 100 or so spam threads in the seed bank review section alone yesterday..

Modship is light on perqs: the only two of which i know are a more generous PM box and the custom user title. I am approaching this as something akin to jury duty: giving back to the forum that allowed me so much mirth across the past year or so. I carry my instruments of office at proud port-arms. cn

some people seem to get all bent out of shape when people post threads in the wrong section, not saying your per se lime, your post just made me think of it is all... i on the other hand never really saw the problem in doing so..

I know the feeling. I know admin sees that activity as their bailiwick however. I'm not sure if the globals have the ability andor duty. cn
