sphagnum good for plant growth?

Has anyone had experience just growing with sphagnum? It seems like a great medium!
just wanting to hear other peoples takes on it

Peat moss tends to be on the acidic side. Not sure what you pH would be but most people add peat moss for retaining water and for lowering your pH of the soil. If your looking into a soilless medium try Coco.
