ok so my plant has been in flower 10 weeks or so
i have buds about a foot long
i have ANOTHER attack of spider mites
is there any reason i cant spray the fuckers now, and rinse the buds in a week or so ?

im gonna bomb the whole room after this plant is cut.

ps looking for prevention of spider mites advice

any opinions at all, advice, commiserations, abuse, mindless condemnation, anything?
Neem oil.... plus you can use some bug products.. but get the one for fruiting plants.. but check labels for when/how long, till safe to consume.. be careful.. maybe even try a basic dish soap and water spray, seeing as its this far along maybe just knocking them back a bit will suffice... be very careful though... Luck.

I'd be careful spraying the buds. If it were mine I would spray all of the leaf I could, especially the undersides. And manually remove the little fcukers as best I could. I would rather yield a little less and smoke a few mites, than lose my crop to bud mold.

As for prevention I would seriously recommend getting some sort of lining into that grow area, I really do hate to be critical of other peoples methods, but the brick walls of your grow room are doing you no favours. when your plant is finished wash the whole area down with bleach then get some black/white plastic lining, its nice and thick and can be kept clean. And more importantly it has no knook and crannies for bad things to hide in.

And when I'm cloning I get a big bucket of neem, turn my clone upside down and dip the whole thing for about 10 seconds. I usually try to do this 3 times whilst it's vegging, and always do it before I put clones into flower. I then spray every other day for the first week of flowering.

I hope this helps.
