My primary light was a Spiderfarmer SF 3000, great for a 3x3. Recently pulled the trigger on a Ac Infinity Evo4. Wow! Very powerful, more intensity. Found the Evo4 flowered plenty well at 80-90%. The girls asked me to back down a little to 90% in their final days. Only thing I liked better about the spider farmer is super precise dimming with the knob. Evo only allows full 10 percent increments of dimming. Both have removable ballast, but I just keep them on the fixtures to maintain 75-78 degrees. All in all they are both a great choice for steeping up to intermediate use. Light bill is not much more running both.
