Spiderfarmer vs electric sky

Whats up guys hope everyone had a nice 420.
Im trying to take advantage of these sales going on and am in need of a lighting upgrade in my 4x4 flower tent. Im stuck between buying 2x sf2000s or 2x electric sky es300
The spiderfarmers will be significantly cheaper and also use less watts, but i think it will also be significantly less powerful. My main goal is to get more light beneath the canopy along with denser buds all around and i think the es300 would do that for me.
Im currently running 2 x6 cobs off of amazon. With an x5 that comes on for 6 hours a day also. They each pull about 250 watts and theyve been good but i want to try something new. They also run a bit warm, plus i usually pull my air from outside and summer is coming. ...
Are es300s god tier compared to spiderfarmers? Have you used either of these lights to flower a 4x4? If so what have you used that you are comparing to? Thanks bros

I've been running two of those same 5 chip lights in my 4x4 and also finally decided to upgrade my lighting. Have you looked into any of the DIY builds in the LED section? There are a lot of great threads in there and I decided to build my own lights based on one of those threads.

If you wanna get the SF2000s, go straight to the source and save yourself a significant amount of money. You're welcome:

P.S. avoid the 3000k/5000k mix and use just 3000k + 660/730nm reds.

Newb grower who got lucky with my first indoor grow here. For the money I'd mix it up and go with the SF 2000 or the HLG of its equivalent and a 315 CMH in a 3100k. I'm running two SF 1000 (wished I'd done the HLG 135 QB) and one 315 CMH 3100k and i've been pretty happy with what I've sampled so far. Good luck and stay safe!

Would they even ship during this special time?

Any reason why you dont just run 2 leds? I have no interest in running anything else really

I highly recommend. Took 10 days to deliver. Yes the shipping costs almost as much as 1 light, but i got 2 shipped for basically the cost of 1 sf4000. She claimed shipping was so much because of corona, but i dont really care either way i think it was worth it. Its virtually the same as the sf4000, even the instructions say spiderfarmer as if they forgot to edit it out or something. And these have a nice knob wired off of the drivers for dimming, to my knowledge you have to take the spiderfarmer drivers off or something to dim. Very happy and so are my plants.

I got mine way cheaper than they cost now...close to this price.

have 4 of the Archibald 220W on the way for testing (not sure why it says 220W, they use the mean well 240W driver). If tests go well...basically if i grow so good flower, i get to keep them (I'll get to keep them lol). With shipping it was only $578. Too bad i won't have them for another 4 weeks or so

Now that I think about it, they are more of 2 of the 100W put together, but still use a 240W driver, and there is no third rows of red. No big deal, i'll add my own red.

It's very possible it only draws 220 from the wall. Check if your info sheet says Spider Farmer too when they come!

yeah, i'll take 220 from the wall. That's 880W in a 5x5, plus adding probably 300 supplemental to it soon as well. I'll likely get the supplemental before I get the boards lol.

I doubt it. Most people here have said even with what's up right now, orders from Ali are only taking like 2 weeks tops.
You're gonna have to dim if you're for real gonna have 1200ish watts in a 5x5 but man will you ever have some even COVERAGE my guy.

i have a 4x4 and bought 2 of the 4000s and i dont really see myself using both of them.
And yeah for me it took 10 days to get. They came in 2 separate packages, 1 came the day after. Amazon is taking almost that long now-a-days for some shit

So, was your information sheet marked with that devious "Spider Farmer" as well?
