Hello,

Figured since seeds has its own thread, I’d make one for spores.

looking for a good spore bank. Ships to CA for research purposes

and provides consistent quality spores.

They are not.


Any organization outside of California using the mail to send spores is in violation of federal law.

Any organization sending spores from inside California is in possession of a California controled substance.

I had always wondered how this works.

If you have what is a legal substance then you have broken no law. If the substance is legal in your state then how can sending it be illegal?

There is no federal law forbidding the possession of spores.

But Tommy chong went to federal prison for sending a bong, which was legal in his own state, to a state where bongs are illegal.

I believe it comes under the genera heading of "wire fraud"?


Not sure really.

But who gets punished? In chongs case, the selling party. One would assume only the receiving party would be punished in his own state.


Clearly, I am wrong in applying logic to a legal precept.

I read a meme that being offended or taking offense to what someone said is like choosing to step in dog shit.

not that I was offended but wasn’t going to put effort into a response.

it’s decriminalized in California. Either way? He’s not the fucking police. I came here just asking a question for what spore banks to use.

I cant tell if you're upset or not? My response about Cali not being legal was meant to inform that spore banks might not ship there. Not that igaf about you growing them . Theyre illegal to grow by us everywhere, no?

Go check out the bottom of Sporeworks FAQ sheet. No shipping to CA, ID or GA. If any banks did ship there, pretty sure they dont want their shit blown up on RIU.

Federally for sure. State, Oregon just decriminalized hard drugs. Same in cali.

maybe they’ll lead the way to abolish the war on drugs. Just like how bud be

all I asked was does anyone know any spore banks that will ship to ca. Point blank.

not what’s the law or what one vendors FAQ says.

And I'm starting to think I'm not making sense to you. Do you think if a spore vendor is going to stick their necks out shipping to illegal states, they'd want it out on the net? They'd be doing everyone in those states a huge favor and the last thing they need is publicity like this
