Spots on leaf?

Wondering if anyone can tell what the marks on my leaf are. She's in 100% perlite, washed and in a 6.0 ph soaked cube for 2 hours. She cracked and went to cube 8 days ago under 24 hour 13 watt cfl, 3 inches away. Only receives water at this moment. Thanks.

It's tap water, and I don't have access to it as a supplement if that's what you mean. I was told to wait till 3 set of true leaves or 10-14 days whichever is first before adding first nutes, and since hempy, no ppm meter. Read lot of hempy, and as long as ph is good never seen alot measuring ppm, so how would I start small, just go 1/4 first water than to half than 3/4 to full? Thanks.

If its "city" tap water you can usually go to the city's website for water treatment and see the levels of cal/mag, and other things, in your water.

8.85 mag. And 38.0 cal, but not helpful to me as I don't know what to do with it.

You should be adding a little cal/mag to your water. A cal/mag supplement will be in a form that is easier for your plant to take in than the calmag in your tap water, which is a little on the low side anyway.

What can I do if I don't have cal/mag? Anything easy to obtain that can be substituted? I don't have lots of funds at the moment due to being released from my job. If it won't grow properly without it than I'd rather not waste the time now though it would be wasted money on everything I have bought to this point.

Sorry, I don't know of good non-bottle cal/mag solutions for hydro. A lot of good ones for soil grows so it would not surprise me if there aren't some home cal/mag remedies for hydro too. Should be easy to google for your options. But if not, a bottle of cal/mag can probably be had for $20 or less and it would pay off in the end. Don't be surprised by a few unexpected costs along the way...sometimes you gotta pay to play.

Yeah, I understand I'll definitely look into it. Only reason I tried to get by if not necessarily needed is its a personal 1 plant grow. Definitely want to feel out a small to medium hempy and decide if growing is for me. Thanks again.

A bottle of cal-mag at my local shop is like $20. That is for roughly 63 feedings of a gallon of water. A bottle should last you easily through a first grow.

100% perlite? Grab some decent soil for your first grow and mix the two is my personal opinion.

I'm going hempy and done lots of research and hempy is very begginer friendly. I'm not interested in soil.

I use a spray i mix up in a bottle of 1 tblsp of epsom salt (costs like a dollar) and lightly mist the plant everyday. The mix is a tblsp per gal of water. Mine seem to clear up afterwards. Just a lil cheap home remedy
