Sprout can't get rid of seed casing

Hello,

I have 4 Mango Haze seedlings (from Mr. Nice). To start, I put 7 seeds into Rapid Rooter plugs one week ago, 6/3/13. On 6/5, the first one sprouted and I think it's the one that's having the problem. (The seedlings are indoors, kept moist and in organic soil, "True living organics" by The Rev.)
The problem is the seed casing will not drop off on the seedling in question. I'm concerned that it will die soon if it can't get rid of the seed case. I gently tried to remove it with a toothpick, but the whole plant moves, as the casing is pretty tight. I looked at it under a mag glass and can see the little hairs on the stalk, so the plant is still alive. Can anyone advise? P.S. Can't figure out how to attach photos.

Thanks,
Gene :-?

just be gentle and give it a helping hand cracking open. I do it all the time, no biggie. Remember, its just a silly weed......it can take a lot of abuse.
