Stalking feature may be built into your new phone's camera

It's called geo-tag. Unless you disable it, embedded within the picture is your location. If you post a picture online anyone would be able to tell where the picture was taken. This could prove embarrassing to a lot of people.

You can remove EXIF and XMP data from images (that can include things like gps location and editing performed on the image) using freely available software. Just lookup: EXIF XMP removal.

yep, what sable said. and this is only new to phone cameras. your digital camera has had this info in it for years. thats why most of my pictures have light, translucent x's through them so i know they're the versions without exif xmp data.

EDIT: and for those of you hacker/leo types, i haven't lived in the same place for the years i ve been on riu, so feel free to waste your time on the early photos of mine you dickbags...yes i realize how paranoid that sounds
