Starter Grow Box?

If I use a 18 gallon tote that is approx 24x18x15 inches will a 14 watt, 225 all blue LED be sufficient lighting? The output of the LED is supposed to be comparable to a 250 watt HPS light. I am only using this to grow starters from seed and on nice days I will leave the starters outside and just put them in the box at night.

it should be is your putting them outside as well what light cyca you putting them on 18/6? or 12/12?

I have them 18/6 light schedule. Roughly 12 hours on direct sunlight and 6 hours with the LED lights.

damn you're really gonna be moving a 18 gal tote back and forth every day lol, any way if what you say is true about the led you should be fine but to know for sure how many plants are you growing?

I will be growing 10 starters from seed.

hmm well with that kind of set up i wouldn't do more than 4 - 6 mostly because of the constant moving dont want to hurt anything and having to many plants is the best way to have that happen if it were just sunor an actual 400 watt hid, i would say knock yourself out but i personally dont have enough faith in the led lights yet
