Starting Flowering 12/12, then switching to 11/13 then 10/14

I read some comments from a grower on YT who said he has stellar results from starting off with the usual 12/12 for the first 4 weeks of flowering then he changes it to 11/13 for a couple of weeks then takes it down to 10/14 until harvest.

Said he gets amazing terps and yields doing it this way.

Anyone got any experience of this at all?

Would love to know a little more or if it's just bro science.

Did the grower post any evidence? Did they reference any academic journal articles? Did they run experiments with controls? Did they post test data?

If the answers are "no", then it is bro science. It might be true, but maybe not. The only way to know is to have proper test data to compare full 12/12 light cycle to the other method you posted. Without that, who knows?

People have also claimed to get better yields switching to 12/12, then to 14/10 late flower as well, such as Dr bugbee from Utah state University, but without the context he includes it means nothing.
