First off, I'd like to say Thanks to everyone here. I've done quite a bit of looking around and have learned a ton. THANKS GUYS!
So I decided to give autoflowers a shot. Just started a 60 day Williams Wonder. Started 4 all together with 2 in 3 gal smart pots and 2 more in 5 gal smart pots )kind of experiment I'm trying). Will put pictures up in a couple of days once I get my camera back from a friend who borrowed it. I'm thinking about expanding my grow for the upcoming spring.
Here's my question for someone with a lot more outdoor growing experience and might be familiar with a New England type climate/season. Would it be possible to start autoflowers indoors for the first 3-4 weeks (open to suggestions) and then bring them outside in mid April or so? I'm using Foxfarm Ocean Forest soil and think I'l be using 3 or 5 gal smart pots. My idea is to get a perpetual grow going where I would be harvesting 5-6 plants every week or two. I'd start them off indoors using either LEDs, T5 Badboys, or MH (haven't decided which additional lighting source I'd buy) and then take them as is in they're pots and just leave them outside in a gueriila grow type of set up. I'd try to make sure I did a good job getting strong stems and developing them nicely while indoors and then taking them outside to be finished off for the last few weeks. Also, any recommendations as to which nutes to use while outside?
Goes without saying that I'd be very grateful for any help. Thanks!
