steam extraction?

thinking of new ways o make stufff similar to bho was thinkin steam into a collector tube ? anyone have input?

i think heat degrades thc. its why people use ice or solvents with low boiling points to extract resin. or maybe its just easier. also, getting caught with a still in the us pretty much guarantees the feds get involved. i ran into the issue of distilling stuff (herbs, flowers...) as a way to make homemade liquers/ bitters a few years ago for craft cocktails for my work. It turns out that messing around with stills of any kind is pretty dangerous from a legal standpoint (prohibition era laws). Apparently it doesn't matter if you are just concentrating herbal oils (eg. making rose flower water) and not distilling alcohol. The gov still considers it to be a still and will seize the property its found on + big fines and prob prison.
