stem thickness

i sprouted a skunk plant 2 weeks ago, and a couple california oranges a couple days ago. the oranges have significantly larger stems than the skunk, although it's about 2 days old and the skunk is over 2 weeks. is there something wrong with either strain? or do the stems thin out as it grows in it's beginning stages of growth?

we all know you don't really care about the stem.

i don't get it.

Different strains = Different Characteristics (eg: Size, Colour) and i think he means cause stems are shit to smoke. Peace man
