step by step winterize process + supplies needed

Hey guys. I think ive got all the supplies required to winterize some oil, except the filters.

what do you guys use to filter the plant waxes out, and where can I get those materials?

also, what exactly is the process/numbers (how much everclear to use per gram of oil, etc...)

yeah I figured it was that simple.. would like to see some others methods and tricks before I start making a mess of my oil. so should I put the everclear in the freezer right now?

do I fully purge the BHO then add everclear, or just evap 95% of tane out with warm water,then add a splash of everclear?

then how do I cook off the everclear properly? should I vac purge it after everclear?

so many questions haha...

I wouldn't recommend using 91 as 99 didn't work well ime ordering ethanol

We evaporate away the visable butane and then add Everclear.

How you get rid of the alcohol, depends on what you want to end up with. F

or oral oils, we distill off the alcohol at 173F in a 250F hot oil bath.

For bragging rights shatter, we cold boil it off in a vacuum at 115F and -29.9"Hg.

yes I would like the shatter.

oral oils? you eat a form of BHO? doesnt it need to be attached to a fat or some sort?

Probably 98% of our oil is used orally in HAO or HSO formulation. It is far more effective against pain and other things like cancer, etc.

Both contain raw unrefined coconut oil to help with absorbtion and to tie up the liver, so as to prolong how long the cannabinoid are in our systems. Here is the formula from our site at

Here are the formulas, both fractionally and in decimals.

Holy Anointing Oil Oral:

1 Part Cannabis Oil1/3 Parts virgin unrefined Coconut oil1/15th Part Cinnamon Leaf oil1/15th Part Cinnamon Bark oil1/30th Part liquid Gum MyrrhIE: 1/3 = .3 (.33333333333)1/15 = .07 (.066666666666)1/30 = .03 (.033333333333)

Therefore:

10 grams BHO Cannabis oil
3 grams Coconut oil
.7 grams Cinnamon Bark oil
.7 grams Cinnamon Leaf oil .
.3 grams Myrrh Gum

Holy Anointing Oil Topical:

10 grams BHO Cannabis oil
8 grams Coconut oil
.7 grams Cinnamon Bark oil
.7 grams Cinnamon Leaf oil .
.7 grams Myrrh Gum1 grams Emu oil* Optional Arnica Montana and/or Jojoba oil

Holy Shit:

10 grams BHO Cannabis oil
3 grams Coconut oil
.7 grams Cinnamon Bark oil
.7 grams Cinnamon Leaf oil .
.3 grams Myrrh Gum
1 gram Cinnamon candy flavoring oil

We make these oils, by adding the other ingredients to the decarboxylated cannabis oil, while the oil is above 82C/180F, and stirring until well mixed. Bottle and use as is.

sooo... I dont think I got an answer as to how much everclear to use per oil?? I will probably use a half oz of bud. 2-3 cans of butane. and yield around 4 grams of oil.

then I just put it all in the freezer? then pour it through a coffee filter the next day and thats it? im done?

About 10 times your volume of oil.

Better if you wait 48 hours, and of course you still have to purge the alcohol, but that is how winterization works.

I use unbleached coffee filters. GW, I've been using everclear 95%, does wine chateau carry a product that is 99.5%?

To my knowledge you can't get it that pure as it is an azeotrope...checked the website and they only carry 190proof

Is it just me, or is that way too much butane for 14g of flowers? I thought one can (10.6oz) per 1 oz of flowers was the norm?

ok so I made it. I didnt use as much butane as I said as it was not needed. I used 1.5 cans. made sure it was real rinsed.

now ive got it in the vacuum chamber. it bubbled nicely for a bit then stopped and now its doing nothing....
