"stickyness" disappearing

The 2-3 days in darkness is nonsense. It's just something floating around cannabis growers but most laugh at it because it's ridiculous.
Thank you bro! I was freaking out! Like I was doing something wrong! If you don't mind! I have a few pictures so far. 2 fans on the sides for circulation, and a small humidifier to help slow the drying process! It's been hanging for 2 days now. Any tips? Or am I doing good? Thank You! (This is my first plant)

No need to freak out. Most people don't put their plants in darkness for 2-3 days. I chop when it's ready and I have the time. If I have time and the plants are in the middle of the light cycle I pull them out, chop them, trim them up, then hang the large buds and put the smaller ones on trays to dry.

I would have at least trimmed off all the fan leaves before hanging it. But that's just the way I do it. Many do it the same way you did and hang the plant then go back and trim when it's dry. I do a close trim right away. That's just my preference.

It does look like you chopped it early. It doesn't look like the buds have really filled out much.

One other thing. You may want to start editing your photos to reduce the size. Some people are on slow connections or use their phone so they might not wait for those 2.8 mb files to load and not reply.

Happy growing. :weed:

before you harvest give them 2-3 days in complete dark even better if you can make it a week, no water, no anything just keep vent running. You'll get the stickiness back plus really nice treats you'll find out for yourself if you follow my advice :)
This is another example of "what the hell were growers smoking between 2008 - 2012?"
