Still Don't know what I have 2.5 wks into 12/12

So I started my plant on 12/12 oct 8th after an extended vegging period and I still don't know if it's male or female. At the moment I'm leaning towards male (sadly) but what I'm seeing also resembles a female pre-flower so I'm not sure. I have a grow tent and so I'm not worried that there's light leaking in, so why is my plant not flowering/taking so long?

What do you guys think?

EDIT::
So glad I was patient and didn't toss my plant, it's a girl! Or at least a hermie, either way win for me since seeds don't bug me, but I only see females flower areas so things look good in that regard.

it all depends on how long you vegged it for.. even though it's in 12 / 12 now, if the plant wasn't allowed to mature enough in veg, it will still need some time in flower in order for it to show sex..
this is why i always like to veg till i see preflowers as this tells me that the plant is reaching sexual maturity and is ready to be flowered..

but looking at your pix, i can't tell if you have a male or female yet.. :)

and that's where I'm confused because I could have sworn I saw female pre-flowers and the branching were coming in in singles vs. pairs which is why I switched it to 12/12. I vegged for about 7 wks, can't remember off the top of my head atm.

I can't tell if it's a boy or a lady. I don't know why it is taking so long but it can happen. I had two plants that took almost 6 weeks of 12/12 (on top of 4 weeks of veg) to show sex. I posted a thread asking if anyone had had a similar experience but no one responded to it.

hmm, that's odd then.. can you get a better pix of what you believed where the preflowers?? it's kind of hard to see in those pix that you have up there now one way or another..
on a side note, usually females take a lil longer to show than males, so maybe it's a sign that she's a she and not a he, lol... and yah, seven weeks from seed is plenty of time to start to see preflowers for sure.. :)

This is why I always do at least 32 hours darkness to help show sex within one week.
i'm about to flower my crop now, and i just pulled the power chord out this morning to let the sit in the dark for at least 24 hours before i flip them to flower even though they are all sexed already, i think it does help them start to flower a lil quicker from experience..

maybe that's where I went wrong, I don't have a dark day before I switch, I just ease the hours down. Also, I unfortunately don't have any pics of what I thought were pre-flowers.

Hell yes I will always do dark period. Makes things happen so much faster.
