you can still be denied . Hopefully not.
A doctor recommendation is not a guarentee to get a Red Card.

Let us know how this turns out, this is the first i have heard about the indigent care they had talked about soo long ago. I know i can't afford the $90 to the state........

a friend just got denied because the doctor used the wrong syntax in the date, the 90 bux is in the bank though I bet.

same thing happened last year this time folks, the MMED got caught with their pants down and an overabundance of applications to process, so they are running behind again (i'm hearing up to 2wks behind). maybe they should hire temps again .....

Second year was over five months for me, third year literally 15 days. Who knows. But the one that took forever was retro active with that weeks date on it, so I really got like A year and six months outta that one..

Just curious have you been able to buy meds with your recommendation paperwork or have the dispensaries been denying you?
I went to a dispensary in Edwards and they said they would pay for my Dr. appt. for my rights. When I was done with the Dr. they said I would have to pay the $75 fee myself and they would reimburse me with meds. The only money I had was the $90 for the app. I paid the Dr. and by the time I had another $90 it was too late to apply with that recommendation. So now I have to pay for another Dr. to get my card. Fuck them. I am not immune from arrest but I have a defense. I think a patient that can grow their own should conduct themselves as if what they are doing is a capitol crime and not mess with any of this state bullshit. Until the state will back up an employee's right to meds I have no use for them. To quote a great grower"Get out of the business and get into the game. Another thing that pissed me off about the dispensary in Edwards was this bald douchebag that was filling out paperwork said to me that he didn't think pot should be legalized. Then he pointed out to me that I was getting a free notary service. I will never set foot in that store and I will see that bald little prick on the street somewhere. Sorry about the rant on your thread.

If you're a new patient they'll take the certified mail receipt and ID but if you are renewing they won't take , I was turned away (with all docs and expired red card) because I renewed a little too late.

shitty about your experience, never sign away your rights to grow man, having said that relaxed clarity is a nice place to get a card or renew.
