Hi everyone I really need help whT is easy way to start from seed stunk buds way. I saw you tube video and didn't want to do it that way breaking open rapid rotter plug and all. I already have Rockwood cubs laying around I also have 2 inch net pots and 2 inch neoprene collars. So what is est way to start seeds can someone please help. I wanted away were I do t have to mess with transpka ting seedling to much had bad luck with this

Omg I just watched the video you're talking about. Do yourself a favour and forget all of this right away. This is from like 10 years ago and this guy seems like Dr broscience. I'm not even going to depict the video because the entire thing was so stupid. I was cringing the whole time.

Stink bud is a legend around here. This here thread in the hydro section has been going since 2008.
We ran aero rails for years and thought they were great until we lost power for a week one time and I ended up going full organics. Anyway to answer your Q there’s a few ways of poppin seeds into rock wool. Clones are preferable obviously but seeds can easily be done if you give the love & attention they need to get started.
The way I prefer is to first soak the cubes for a few hours in ph adjusted tap water… you can add a drop of lemon juice to a cup of water and that will be pretty close to 6.0-6.5. It should be moist but if you squeeze the cube lightly no water should drip off. Place seed into the hole and drop the cube into a ziplock bag until it sprouts. Blow in some air and seal the bag. Once sprouts emerge you can take the cube out and keep it moist by spraying 2x daily with a hand mister under low light. Do not try to put seeded cubes into the aero system until roots are pushing through the bottom.

A dome will work too but I still do the ziplock baggie thing even when I plant in dirt cups. I got a clone king 36 a couple years ago; used to have a DIY cloner but the pump went on it. The clone king design is better than my old homemade tote bin and easier to clean. With a few drops of rapidstart in the water I get roots in a week…

I made one exact to the stink bud design I just used dif pump now to the pump you attach half inch neoprene hose a little piece idk because the pipe doesn't quite reach

Oh right; see what u mean. Pretty sure I used a piece of 1/2” rubber hose and just kinda jammed it in there. Finding the exact fittings can be a bitch; some times you gotta DIY whatever you can to make it work.

Uea I got the half inch hose don't fit in the half inch pvc unless I take the small 2inch piece off and just stick hose in bottom of t coming down is that a good wY will it work

If it doesn’t try looking for the right size fitting on eBay. Think I had to get a “stepped” universal piece or something like that to get it to fit.
Half inthreaded adapter fit on pump maybe that will work

What do you guys suggest they are all in small rockwool cubes doing well I think I have been hand watering I have some of the cubes down in 2 inch net pots with neoprene sleeve holding stem I am going to make them all like that. Do you think they are good enough to go in the aero cloner now? Also what should I time the sprayers? Please help thanks everyone
Damm you got it down I take it they all clones because of that long root. Mine are doing okay I started in rockwool and used 2 inch net pot with puck. At first was on spraying 4 times a day but they have taken off in last week you think. I have the 1 second low timer what setting you think I should use 1 on 5 off. I know it's rockwool bit has good roots now so what you think?
