Stoner wallabies

I'm going to be planting about 50 plants this season and I'm trying to think of ways to grow successfully without making chicken wire fences everywhere ,problem is there are wallabies that want my plants!!.For those who don't know a wallaby is a small kangaroo usually 1m tall or less , and they eating my weed plants, one idea Iv come up with is to make a small fenced off area and grow my small plants in 15L or 4 gal pots inside the enclosure and chop of all side branches and leaves untill the plant is 1 metre tall then plant it in a large 30L bucket which is about 50 cm tall with the bottom chopped out and soil amended underneath and secure the bucket with a stake ,leaving the lowest foliage 1.5 metres of the ground. Does any one have any experience with this sort of thing or can think of another solution to my problem? (my plants will be sativas by the way

how could you stay mad at that ^

id say all you can do is fence them out, maybe leave them a bunch of tasty food away from the plants a bit..

but if they are a true variety of stoner wallabies then I think they will defiantly make a beeline for the for the plants

Hang meat around your plants to attract carnivoirs. This will scare off the vegetarians which eat your plants.

They have dingos there right?

I don't think meat will work on wallabies but you can try, I've also heard spreading urine works, but again I'm not sure it will with these guys.
Apart from fencing the only other thing that really works is blackberry bushes, it's a lot if work but does the job.

If wallabies are anything like my chickens, good luck,lol.. A fence is the only thing that will stop a determined animal from getting stoned in my experience.

Interesting replies everyone , I'd hate to put all my eggs in one basket without fences then lose my whole crop. Il be doing a grow log next sept when the season starts, il do some with out fences but probably most with. The only way to know is to try it .
