I am actually wondering this myself. What are some strains with low THC levels? I am wondering this because I want a strain that I can roll up, and smoke the whole joint without being completely ripped. I want to quit smoking cigarettes, and would love to be able to smoke a joint and have just a small high where I can still function properly, instead of smoking a whole joint of some purple or kush and you are just GONE! Looking for the strain to be a Sativa, don't want to be falling a sleep on the job

I am just your average smoker that gets joy out of smoking anything and am tired of smoking a cigarettes, you get nothing out of them. Would love to smoke 1 whole joint in place of that cigarette and be good for hours instead of just a couple. Smoking is just a big part of my life and don't want to support the tobacco companies anymore Thank you for your comments.

Pick seeds outa middies or the most garbage weed you can find. If you want to achieve lower THC levels if your growing it with inferior lighting would help.

you can go to nirvana shop and they tell u the thc level..
California Orange Bud has a medium level thc, good for day time id say..
i understand what your saying about how strong most strains are 2day, they end up smoking u.
i find 1 half/full a bowl from a pipe is good for day time getting stuff done..

just make sure you pollenate your bud when you grow it and you will significantly lower the thc levels. Then you can dry and cure it just as you would some great weed and when you are done you will have weak marijuana that still has a great taste and smoothness.

Yes, you or I would have regrets... Especially If the cola got pollinated! But for this person, who for some reason I can barely understand wants to smoke weak marijuana, it is sound advice. Maybe don't pollinate the whole plant tho, leave the best part alone. That way you can have your weaker, non-sensi, but still have something stronger around when you need it. I don't know, this certainly is a strange topic, lol. The only reason I would ever pollinate would be to breed, but I guess there are side effects that some people might like... not me, but some people.

he has a completely legit reason to want a lower level of thc i don't know why all you guys are getting so perplexed and ragging on him. he wants to have some weed that he can smoke a whole joint of without getting very high. i assume he will be smoking them multiple times throughout the day and smoking a majority of days since he said he is trying to replace his smoking habit. Some people have legit reasons for wanting less potent bud, i like to smoke the best shit i can get but my parents for instance smoked weed in the 60's and 70's but than quit until the last 4 years. They think the weed nowadays gets you too high off of just one hit because they prefer the mellow functional stone they used to get back in the day with their shitty buds. I can understand the appeal of smoking joints to yourself as if they were cigarettes, i would do it with potent or not so potent bud if i had the money but sadly i dont..
