K so i have these growing under two 2' fluoros and 2 4' fluoros, the 2 foot ones are growing lights the 4' are commercial, and are approximately 3" from the lights.

they weren't put under the fluoros until a couple days after they sprouted. Are they going ok or should i be doing more?

They will be fine but when you transplant just plants a bit of the stem each time. I have had that happen to a few of mine before. Its ok.

Yea, what Lacy said. Also, when you transplant or now if you want, go ahead and get more light on them. They will love you for it...

You can pick up some CFL's @ 6500K and that will help..

You're fine as the other poster's have said, and I used the exact same peat pots for my first white widow grow attempt. Attached are what they looked like at 3 days, then at 25 days, from sprouting. I just dropped the peat pots into 3 gallon pots deep enough to bury the skinny stems to about 1/4" below the cotyledons, then kept them quivering lightly with a fan to toughen up the stems. Worked a charm, although only 1 of the 3 was a female in the end (she's 42 days old today and 12 days into flowering).

Ya sounds good all. I'll be on that. they do seem like they're growing a tad slow. Will a transplant like that really make that much of a difference seeing as they are still so small? basically what I'm saying is, wouldn't it be fine to just transplant once they are a half foot tall and maybe bushier than now?

no the quicker you transplant them the quicker they get bigger. if you wait too long to transplant you will cause the roots to bind up and stunt the growth. they need root space and lower the lights on the plants to about 1inch from them. thats were i have mine set with the same lights. and when you replant them bury them to about 2-3inches from the first leaves.

YES!!! So many people underestimate the significance of transplanting. IT makes a HUGE difference because then the roots get to expand. The more room you give your plants to grow the bigger their potential.
