Im shoping around locally for some nuts for my first grow and I call around different places that know should be good to buy from ill tell them what is there best and ask about the n.p.k and all thay can tell me is what kind of plants are you growing do you get this to.
 
do your research 1st, than just find who carries it. Or go shopping physically.....or over the net, my preference.
 
different plants need different amounts of N,P or K units. Even acidous plants have there own fertilizers (ie azeleas (?spell) etc) so she was probaly asking because of that, she knew what she was talking about.
 
tomato plants have similar nutritional requirment. acctually I have 6 tomato plants flowering in my hydro grow right now using the same nutes and lights.
