Stupid idea?

okay hello guys, im in the bottom end of aus and i have 2 little plants growing atm, i germinated some seeds about 2 weeks ago and i have a very healthy plant that is about 3 inches tall and another one that is not so healthy and about 2 inches, i know its not growing season here but i would still like to grow these babys even if the do die, just to experiment, ill be growing 3 to 4 plants later in the year but i would like to just experiment with these for now, the problem its really cold out latley and light frosts in the morning, i would like to build a small grow box but i wouldnt have a powerpoint to plug into for electricity, roomates would not be impressed if they found a cord running outside and into a grow box! would there be anyway i could grow off L.e.d or other battery powered lights? i know this probably sounds stupid and i dont even mind if i dont get bud off them i just would to experience growing a plant before i have a real Outdoor crack at it in the right season,

Comments would be good even if they do say im an idiot for thinking this up , keep tokin

bury the cord and use a small fluro or cfls
leave it on 24hrs
and ride skippy around it to keep it safe lol

Dont grow in a place where you have roommates that are not agreeable to the situation #1.

Dont take a risk without much chance of a reward.

I hear Australia's rules are pretty harsh on growing.

Im in Oz too - I have 6 growing atm (3 in flower and 3 in veg) - for the laws it varies state to state.. all depends on the size and set up - as to the penalty.. ie. they can tell between a personal grow and commercial grower.

Why cant you get a little cupboard in your bedroom and put a light and fan in that and grow them inside the house..?

I have 3 normal wardrobes of different sizes as my grow rooms..

But i totally agree with #1...

haha thanks for the imput guys, is been about a week now and the little guys are still thriving the bigger one has grown 4 more nodes and the littles one is recovering , i think i might just leave them outside for good now, i just went for a visit about 2 hours ago and gave them some nutes more straw in the pot to keep the girls warm and some better drainage. so i might keep them there another week and se how they are doing then determine wether or not to leave them out. what do you guys reckon

Isn't winter just about to begin in Australia?

Man your roomates suck. My friends are lazy bastards I would love for them to come to me and say I'm growing some mj. Should just grow them inside your room and lock the door so they don't even know.
