stupid questions but need to kno

I no this is a stupid question but ide rather ask it then not no so if i have a 2.5 x 2.5 x 3.5 tall grow room with a 250w hps will that be enough AND what does it mean to stop them from growing ( i think its called vegging>?) and forcing them to flower??? IM dumb but learning fast

vegging = to grow .... flowering= stopping vegging and grow buds (if its a female)

i think a 250 watt hps would be good to start with get a few grows under your belt and keep an eye on detail what helps? what hurts? changing from vegging to flowering is all part of an artificial time period we use to manipulate the plant we love.

yea just keep in mind man its gona get mad hot with a 250w hps in such a small area unless you have real goos ventilation. i have a 150w hps in a 2.5x2.5x7 space and it gets up to like 85 in there when its all closed up and the lights are on so yours will get hotter then that cuz u got a smaller space and a bigger light def look into that and prepare yourself Good Luck!
