I'm growing 5 NL plants from seeds in a 20 gallon fish tank. I need to know if my plan for lighting is going to be enough to support up to 5 plants.
I think I'm going to buy 1 24" light fixture to hold 2 flourescent bulbs one is going to be a GE Sunshine bulb which is 5000k and 620 lumens. The other is going to be a GE Daylight bulb which is 6500k and 1020 lumens. I'm going to have an Aerogarden hood with 2 bulbs as well.
The reason I'm not going with a 400 watt HPS is because my apartment pays for the electricity .
I think I should get 2 fixtures and hold 2 warm and 2 cool bulbs, and run the aerogarden lights too. What do you guys think?
