molasses is safe to use and provides all kinds of good stuff for your plants.
5ml/g is the common dosage....

works really well in hand fed application
gunks up in hydro....

good luck

Sugars Provide nothing directly to/for your plant! They feed the bacteria existing in the rhizome layer adjacent to the root or on the surface of the leaf which in turn processes the micro/macro elements for the plant. 2.5ml to 5ml per gallon every other week in-conjunction with regiment of microbial inoculation. try this Soil Cultures

Good Luck!

Are you guys doing this outdoors too? Reason I ask is would it not bring a lot more bugs to the equation?

well actually lolapug2175, Sugars do something DIRECTLY to & for the plant. They are said to increase soil microbials, enhance regrowth , and more effectively make use of the plants nitrogen, and molasses will increase the energy level of the plants because to add sugars is to add carbohydrates, which giving the plants simple and complex carbohydrates durring flowering will always give a positive boost to your plants. Also it's said that adding glucose to your regular feeding during the last 6 weeks can augment your harvested bud weight by up to 20% more than not using it.
