Sun or darkness hmmmm?

Ok heres the story ---- I had my seeds in a pot for about 3 days, and i got the case of newb syndrome and decided to see if the seed had a taproot or not. I looked in the soil to find a taproot a little over a half inch.

MY QUESTION IS THO WHAT DO I DO NOW? PUT IT IN SUNLIGHT AND WATER IT EVERY COUPLE DAYS OR KEEP IT IN DARKNESS???

doesnt really matter, u can keep it in darkness until it pops the surface or put it in now

Well if it's starting to sprout then you should put it in the light. The only time I ever keep them in darkness is to germinate them.
