Supercropping mistake.....

Wassup riu community I have a small problem from this morning. I have a lil outdoor grow I've been doing since June and the bunch (10 white widows) are all doing pretty damn good for the most part given the conditions....the heat has been ridiculous in my area this summer. Anyway, I was experimenting with the supercropping method on three of them and up to this morning i was doing a pretty decent job with it. On two of them I wasn't as gentle and careful as I shouldve been when doing any kind of HST and didn't soften up the stem enough and they snapped open pretty wide. I'd say the growing tip is about halfway off of each of the Two plants. My question is this; would it be better to just snip off the growing tips and treat it as if I was topping or will the tips grow back in cases like this? I wish I could snap a pic for you guys to see of them but it's raining right now. It's hard to know what to make of the situation being so new this experience. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!

well it depends on how bad the break is...alot of people crimp branches to supercrop....but if its just hanging there barely then i wuld top it

wrap it up, just make sure the tape has something between it and the plant, like paper towel or something cuz it'll heal and actually get much bigger from the ordeal and its a bitch to remove tape from a plant w/o hurting it at all when the stem reconnects itself. it will be fine if it doesnt get infected

If it looks dead I mean dead then snip it off.If not tape it or wrap the wounded area and put it an area where the wind can't agitate it or block the wind some how if they are in the ground.

well seeing the responses i guess i panicked a lil bit lol but much better safe than sorry with something like this. ill post the pics anyway for the hell of it

this one is just hanging......pretty sure ill have to butt in and help this with tape cuz it doesnt look like ol mother nature will be able to work that magic lol

as for this one i think itll be just fine. its starting to turn colors at the break as it would if it were turning into an elbow.

either way, i think ill just wait until the morning to see what happens by then. thanks a million for the pointers everybody!

Can you splint it back up? If it just happened you should be able to put a splint on it like everyone else said. You should see the effects in about two or three days. I had a plant snap in the wind and I let it go and it came back. Good luck
