Hi iv been obsessed with using leds for my growing for a while and I have finally settled on a setup
so i just wanted to share my lighting setup , tried cobs and everything but mainly I have been working on thermal issues around led lighting for growing anyway so to give you an idea im using a 90 watt ufo with red blue and a couple of orange and you can easily adjust the red blue ratio for veg or flower, actually iv split my ufo light with a switch on one of the supplies so I have a veg and bloom setting, and finally iv added 21watts of pure full spectrum tungsten bulb, to cover the environmentals, it gives me about 3 watts of uv for cleaning and dissinfection and I assume uv to be important for a plants health especially in the seedling stage theoreticly cleansing the plant of pathogens and viruses. and also provides about 13watts of infrared for the bones.

not really sure how you can exspect 3W from 21W total of UV if you conisder that most of the wattage is turned in to heat allready , not only a little.
a small part is turned in to visible light and a very very tiny amount in to uva, but see where most of the ernegry is going below before stating that a tungsten will be of any use for us, as long you dont just need just a heater.
