So im just a little curious on where online would i be able to get everything needed for my own grow?

You can get all supplies at Your local hardware store...
except mushroom spores
PF TEK ~ mason jars with no lip... vermiculite... brown rice flour... or other substrate...
1. you need your mushroom spores
2. a terrarium to fruit your mushrooms
3. spray bottle
4. gloves
5. glove box for sterilization
6. pressure cooker

1 is the iffy part seeing im in the states but not one of wich is illegal to possess spores if its research purposes

I'm also interested in starting to grow my own. i've seen a few shops online selling syringes loaded with spores but i feel like they're kinda sketch

its your own risk, you can note them to possibly not label the box as spore prints or "fungal specimen" like companies tend to do.
i would recommend a PO box in a different state if you are willing to make the drive and ordering through sporeworks.com or a more trustable source though. you will only need PO box for a month.
i have not purchased from this company magic-spores-shop nor have i attempted to send spores to an illegal area but it would be what i try if i cannot find a local cultivator to purchase mycelium and prints from. But good luck on that.

I've ordered spores from Lil Shop of Spores several times with no problems. You can get by without the glove box but a pressure cooker is essential. I use soft wheat and colonize 4 oz jars, than I crumble them into tubs of pasteuized organic soil, cover for a week and then fruit in the tubs. It's really not difficult. Check out Shroomery or Mycotopia. They have all the info you need.
