switch to 12-1 light cycle? (12-1 experienced help and people for it only please)

OK, I just discovered the High Times article and am intrigued by the thought of how big the plants get. I don't really care about the energy saving part. So for my veg time I am SERIOUSLY considering this method. BUT, I have been in veg for 1 week at 18/6. Can I safely make the switch? Thanks.

yea you can make the switch if you want ..
more veg just equals more yeild and bigger plants
if you look around some people are doin 12/12 from seed/clone
as for the 12/1 ive never used or gona i like to stick to the basic hours. (18/6veg even though i kno plants dont get 18 hours or light outside w.e and 12/12 for flower.)
:) Good Luck hope it works more power to you.

I have been using 12/1 since the end of June. I do it because I have 3 rooms and this syncronizes all the lights for venting and watering chores.

I never read the article but the plants are growing pretty much the same.

I upped the light intensity over the veg table to make up for the shorter time so no money savings. Just convenience and I suppose a little thicker stems for the same leaf mass.

Several plants were in different stages of growth when I made the switch, none of them acted stressed whatsoever.
