Switching clones to Veg

I just want to know when i should take my clones out of the dome and put them in soil under the 400 watt mh? How many roots hood there be before i do this? I have them in 1 inch rock wool cubes right now and a few roots are coming out the bottom and side. Will taking them out of the dome kill them or will they be able to root and grow still?

im not an expert grower but i think you might be fine moving them under the 400watts light.
just put the light like 16 inch away for the first day after that you can adjust it to the best distance. good luck with your plants man.
