it depends on how long you have been taking them, If you only took 1mg or so once then in about 5-7 days it would safely be out of your system but as little as 3 days if your healthy , If you have been taking them several times a day for weeks or more then you could still have traces of them in 3 or more weeks after the last dose. http://answers.webmd.com/answers/1198207/how-long-does-xanax-stay-in
good answer. unless you're binging, 7 days is a safe bet.

um.... it all depends on the benzo you are taking. the more long lasting ones also metabolize into other long lasting benzos. some have half lives of days. But it all depends on what you are worried about. What happens with the long half life ones is that there is still a residual amount from the last dose and so as time goes on your body gets backed up. It could be many weeks before everything is cleared up. Clonazapam and diazapam are long half lives and they metabolize into other long half life benzos. If you are taking them on any sort of regular basis, plan on weeks.

There are cases and not rare ones where someone has been taking as little as 2.5 mg of valium for 6 months or a year. They quit abruptly and figured they were fine, only to encounter withdrawals 4, 5 or 6 days later.

what just one 2mg xanax bar after being clean for 3 months
I think alprazolam is fairly short. I don't want to look it up but i figure you are ok after a few days.. If I recall, alprazolam is a metabolite of diazapam (not sure) but it doesn't seem like you would have a problem after 6 or 7 days.

It's a triazolobenzodiazepine and I can't see how diazepam would get metabolized into it.
