T-5(48) HO Light System Any Good?

I just bought the new T-5(4 HO for my closet first of all does any one have it and if so maybe you can give me sum tips working with it. Now that I got that it seems like I need to water everyday cause it like sucks the water right out my two plants I dunno Im pretty much wondering if I got ripped off I only payed $269.00(excluding tax's) and then dude gave me all 8 bulbs for free My thoughts were I live in sacramento so right now its hot enough so I wanted to go CFL because of the low heat(thats kinda bs cause that thing gets hot) and how high should I have my hood/lights over my 2 plants cause one is bigger then the other two different stains so if anyone out there has any pointers or tips for me I would love to hear them thanks alot

bought it, buyers remorse. I have a 4'- 8 light t-5 fixture. read videoman40's journal, even has pictures. Are you using a moisture meter? Hang the light uneven, one end higher than the other?? Don't grow different strains together unless they mature about the same and finish at the same height? I have 20 plants under that light, happy with what I see so far. VV

I am using 6 HO t5's 3 footers . and yes they do get warm you still need some ventalation here is my set up. notice how I have it hanging one side higher
