*Tear* I cut my plant!

Man, today is a sad day for me. I cut the top off of my plant to clone it. Why is it sad? because my once beautiful plant now looks stunted somehow.

But, the plants overall health will improve drastically from me doing it, and I will end up with a second plant hopefully, if I dont kill the clone.

So, my mission, is to make sure my clone survives. I believe its already dead though, lol.

I got a paper cup and put about 2 1/2 inch's of water in it (tap water, is this ok? or did I fuck up?) And I cut the top of my plant off (about a foot or so) and trimmed it to where it just had about 3 stems on it left. and I put it in the water.

So, from my understanding I've done it decent I guess. But, theres a problem. My plant started wilting as soon as I cut it. It is now wilted quite a bit. Is this normal? If not what do I do?

I cut the plant because it was about to start budding (it look female!!) and I figured cutting the plant will allow more resources to go to the buds, and increase the overall health of the plant (I know the second is true, because everytime my plant looked unhealthy, I cut alot of the stems off, and it ended up like the pictures I posted in other posts). Plus I was told if it was budding when I tried to clone it, it would make the cloning much harder on the plant.

Anyway, I have NO fertilizer for it, did I fuck up by not waiting till I had fertilizer?

Any tips on what to do?

And if all els fails and if the clone dies then, it will be sad, but oh well. My larger plant will become more healthy because of it.

Thanks all.
