I used there 3 part nutr in soil for 4 grows. It works fine.good stuff.I got mine from a hydro shop in a kit that they sell for around $20.00 usd.It came with grow, boost, bloom, awesome blossoms, thrive alive b-1 red, thrive alive green b-1,and rootech cloning gel very nice kit.I would get all 3 so you have a balanced nutr mix. I asked ths same question a few days ago. From the very few answers I received, they seem to like the stuff. I also bought the startup kit and I had to order more within a few weeks. Several bottles were samples and if you use the formula they recomend, it runs out quick. I'm using a six gal res and changing every two weeks.
I'm over a month in and getting good results, but this is my first grow and have noyhing to compare too.
I also asked in my last post if there was a simpler 3 part mix and got no response. The mixes they recommend through out the grow are two parts of main products, BC Grow, BC Bloom, BC Boost, and one part of the supplements, Thrive alive, Awesome blossom.

I just thought it would be a simple three part mix. So how many different nutes does everybody use. Is three parts the norm or does everybody use five or six or more?

The start up kit you got there is a 3part feed.the 3 small bottom are additives, thrive alive red is for rooting and transplanting, thrive green for foliar feeding and seeds.the awesome blossoms is a flowing additive. The root tech is for clones. The 3 small ones are samples. Peace

im using thier starter kit as well. and im probably going to buy the remainder of thier products ( root 66 , sugar daddy and magical ) i will however probably buy another starter kit instead of just buying any of the nutes i need sepratly. its very very economical. and any extras i can give to a friend / start a second grow with them. i change my resivoior about every 5th day. when i put the thrive alive red into the water. it turns the water dark brown. i change it as soon as the water looks clear. i take it they have sucked everything useful outta the water. so far no nute burn.

According to the lit with the products, Veg formula One 15.14ml of boost, 7.5ml of grow, and 11.35 of thrive alive red per gallon and if uses the red and the awesome blossom throughout the bloom.
Using the formula they give, I ran out of the red by the second res change.:peace:

if you goto Technaflora Plant Products - Recipe For Success it has calculators to use for begining and end stages of each cycle. just type in how mnay liters / gallons your using. 15ml = 1 table spoon. yes i also am running low on thrive alive red. ( from my starter kit. ) i am sorta substituting the thrive alive green. if you read the side of the green it gives you directions on how to use it for " hydroponics " in addition to your regular stuff. it only has a little bit extra stuff the red doesnt. so i use it at 1/2 strength just to make sure i dont over nute.. remember. plants will grow with nothing but ro/di water + light. anything else we add just makes them bigger or die.

sugar daddys crap and make your res stink like sulpher but for great results i use the 3 base nutes and awesome blossoms for ph up they love it. i find that the advanced was the only better brand other than teknaflora. advanced has always given me the fattest yeild still using awesome blossoms from teknaflora with it. all the other stuff except the thrive alive you could do without and will become very expensive to buy ans use all the time. personally we have found their just unneeded products.

The 3 part and awesome blossoms is all I used after the red and green thrive ran out.I used superthrive in place of the red & green when I ran out.I have switched too GH 3-part and diamond nectar using the superthrive too.I have distilled water and add cal-mag plus and at flower time add koolbloom. Why I switched ? It's easyer to control the ph and the mix stabilize faster. It's working good for me.But if I couldnt get GH I would use bc techaflora and advance. You keep it as simple as you can and then theres no guessing what did what to the plant if something go's south. PEACE
