temps

well many of you know that temps should be kept around 85 f. But that doesnt mean temperature taken from a gauge that is a foot away from plants. To get optimum results chillers have a temp gauge that hangs with a cord and is often placed an inch from plant nearest the light. Here is where you want to have 85 not a foot away or 4 fet away. 85f a foot away is like 93 at the plant leaf closest to the bulb. just thought i would share that with soem of you new guys.

93 way to hot man 95 and that plant is dead.
Not necessarily. I remember my first grow, before I got proper ventilation, I saw highs of 40C (105f) and none of my plants died.
I'm not saying they liked it, but they all lived long enough for me to get the temps down. It was almost a week with temps over 95 (not constantly, but for a good portion of the day) before I got it dialled. They still made 1-2oz dry per plant, with all the fuck ups I made.
