Temps

Hey,

I'm running 18/6 ATM but I am finding it difficult to control the temps while the light is off. While it is on, humidity (70%) and temp (71F/22C) which from what I've read is pretty good.

While the lights are off, humidity rises to about 90% (even with outtake fan running) and temps drop to 59F/15C due to the cold Melbourne weather in Australia atm.

Am I better off just running 24/0 due to the cold Melbourne weather?

Just run 24/0. Nave you thought of running the light during the night and have them off in the day time? What are you going to do for flower?

FWIW I don't think 59 is too low.

You can, but the plants need some down time to do sleepy time stuff. Over 80% humidity can be a problem too. Will you be flowering in that same space?

Sorry, I should've included times.. I run light from 6pm-12pm. Lights are off from 12pm-6pm. It's only just come into spring in Australia so temps are still cold even though we've had some warmer days. You say 59 isn't that low? How long can I go? Humidity might be a problem though as I can't get it below 90% while lights are off.

By the time I'm ready to flower it should be summer time so shouldn't be an issue.

seems like not too much to worry about. I switched from 24 to 20/4 and i like the results. After a few months of lights on for 24 it just seems like the plants needed nap times. i like having a dark period.
i noticed that my humidity rises at night as well, dont think this is a problem until budding, then you want lower humidity.
