So there ended up being to many things to over come with the spot I had originally chosen and have opted for the 4x4x7 Lighthouse Hydro. What type of fan setup would you recommend off Amazon as this is the the easiest place for me to order. Smell is not a concern atm so I am going to hold of on a carbon filter until funds are better. Can I get away with just a small box fan and or perhaps a Booster inline fan through the cool tube to exhaust? This is running with a Apollo 600 Watt HPS/MH with Air cooled tube hood.

Is that tent quality? Does it have metal corner connectors? You can't use a booster fan with a 600w I would get the inline fan and filter.

i go quality over quantity. Your Apollo ballast prolly gives rf interference because its a cheaper ballast. Not sure i never had one I went from magnetic to a phantom

I just got a 400w with a Apollo ballast and its actually pretty nice. I once used a squirrel cage fan to cool a light it worked really good. Just a thought if you have one laying around it had a 6" to 4" pipe reducer on the end just hooked duct work to it and it worked great.

My 600w phantom is considerably more heat my 400w magnetic. Way more hotter but I got a cooltube and can keep it within 10 inches from the tops...

I have used a booster fan down bottom of my tent and that worked fine for bringing fresh air in but it won't be strong enough to suck that air out. I'm runnin a 4x4x7 tent with nothing but 2 clip on pedestal fans inside for air circ and a single 440cfm exh fan ducted to the cooltube and carbon filter sucking the insides out and that's even sucking the sides of tent in its that strong.

If you have plastic corners, reinforce them with duck tape or be ready for the tent to come crashing down on your plants at some point in the future. It took my plastic corners 5 years before they gave out.

I have read a lot of good things about it did hours of research here and over at GC, It looks likes this is the same Gotham hydro tent that is sold on ebay. I plan on upgrading to a Jardin later on down the road but would like to get a decent fan setup going as it is right now all I have in there is a big standing fan blowing up which keeps the room around 82. Most of my funds are Amazon only atm so I am limited as to what I can get and dont want to end up with a bad fan any reccomendations?

I use the hydrofarm active air.. It's loud like most but it does the job... Vortex is a quality fan if you want one of them.
