Tent suggestion

I'm in the market for a new tent. My apologies if this place isn't the most appropriate place to post such a topic, I couldn't find a dedicated tent space.

I have narrowed my search down to two tents: the new Vivosun, or the 'new' Gorilla tent (6'8). I'm kind of leaning towards the latter because of their reputation. However, that Vivosun looks awfully tempting, does anyone have any experience with Vivosun's new tent products? If so, would you recommend it over the Gorilla tent?

I am not impressed with Gorilla's "lite" line of tents (not sure if that's what you're referring to). I do not think for the price they are worth it. I'd go with AC Infinity over Gorilla.

I second the AC Infinity tent. I’ve got an AC Infinity tent and a Viparspectra tent, and I really like the AC Infinity. It’s got thicker tent material, a more robust zipper, and thicker/stronger support posts. They were similar in price when I bought them. I’d definitely buy another AC Infinity tent. (I haven't used any of their other products)

edit: both are 5x5 tents

Bought 3 vivosuns never a gorilla but I like their height adjustable concept. Vivosuns the smaller the better, the bigger the more wobbly and baggy the fabric becomes. Depends though so my 3x3x6 is very wobbly beyong my liking but I have thin ply wood over top that touches the wall which some what stabels it.

My 2.5x5x6.5 is less wobbly even though its bigger so theres that. I had a 2x4x5 that was fine. The bigger tents are baggy which is good or bad how you look at it. Bad if do nothing about it the negative air pressure sucks in walls making less space.

If you wedge a clothes hanger in corners youll get like up to 5” extra space around the tent. My 2.5x5 is stable I will add, with fans lights etc. Its a cheaper tent I like that and the zippers prove to withstand usage. Just my comments on vivosun I had 3 of them. Gave the small one away.

I run dual Gorilla 5x5s which were my first choice and have no complaints. Good luck...
