Hey guys I thought It would be helpful if everyone(including myself) new the best lamp company's on the market. So far I know about Eye Hortilux, AgroSun, Sun Pulse, Solar Max, Sylvannia, Venture, Sun master, Ushio, ect. I have mainly heard good things about Hortilux and Sun Pulse.
I saw Sun Pulse at the SF garden expo and there company definitely intrigues me. I have only used an Eye Hortilux super HPS in my experience. So far it seems to be quite the nice lamp, but I am sure there must be better.
So what does everyone here know about lamp types and the best lamp company's out?
Let's discuss our views on lamp types and lamp company's.
Who provides the best spectrum? Who provides the most lumens? Who is the most economical? Who provides the longest lasting lamps? Who is the most environmentally friendly? Who is considered the overall best? Who makes the best HPS? Who makes the best MH?
Share your Knowledge and bring the peoples minds out of the darkness.
Note: This is a thread discussing quality of lamps. Not weather one should use only HPS, only MH, or a combination of both. I have a thread dedicated to MH and HPS discussion concerning there individual and combined use. Metal Halide VS High Pressure Sodium
