My favorite commercials were for Canada (by the tourist board?) and they played in '90 and '91 iirc. They were beautiful, in particular the one that ended with a woman's voice declaring "...and the raven smiled". I have been unable to find them on Youtube. But truly, those were among the only ads for which I'd interrupt a task, say doing dishes, to stare at the TV screen, rapt, for the ad's duration, unmindful of dripping Palmolive onto the Isfahan. I wish i could find archived copies. cn
