This past summer there was a ton of smoke due to wildfires. The conversation for the outdoor growers was "will this affect the taste of my weed?"
Where I am located I had smoke from June until September. The fires were within 10 miles of my home so we had it thick for weeks at a time. Then we would get a break due to winds for a couple days and then another couple of weeks shrouded in smoke.
I can definitively say yes my weeds flavor and smell have absolutely been affected.
As many of you know I wash all of my weed with disgusting results
However you just can't wash out that smoke smell and flavor.
Is it ruined? Far from it.
Do I consider it compromised? Yes absolutely.
Oh well

H2O2 wash/Fresh water wash
Did a wash today with H202 warm water followed by a fresh cold water wash. Here were the results. As we can see the H202 took care of the bulk of the crap from the ash and such. The fresh water rinsed the 1st wash off and offered additional cleaning. But look how clear that second bucket...
