Start with Red ( Might as well throw White in here since it relates )
3 to 4 weeks until harvest...hairs turning red kinda early ? Or is that the normal amount of time when it happens ? ( I don't remember them turning red until the last few weeks during flushing...maybe I'm just smoking too much of my product anymore to remember correctly
)
Just a few red hairs here and there...but they are adding up daily.
At first I thought it might be a PH problem since my Grape Apes turned brown rather quickly a week or so ago, due a PH problem...fixed it and new white hairs are popping out within days of fixing it.
Thought they might even be done..but crystals are still clear to milky. No amber yet on any of plants..guess I need to chill.
Checked PH on other plants and they seem fine..

2x Kushes..one is an Afghooie...and the other is a Kush plant ( grown from seed ) brought back to the US by one of our brave soldiers. ( I have 20 more...first one I tried was a female...whoo hoo ! )
Last question and most important...
Ok I lied ..it isn't Blue...but Purple.
I'm trying to get mojo purple going on the GAs....there is a little bit starting to show through. But I want major purpling.
How cold do I need to get my grow room ?
Coldest I've been able to get is 60....is that good enough ? And will 2 days of non coolness throw it off track ? Duct work from lighting cooling slipped off and I had 2 days of major heat...almost 90 during lights on and only low 80s lights off...my bad, ( Might be the cause of the sudden red hairs...stable temps and humidity for so long and then suddenly bam !!!...90 + heat and bottomed out RH..it was like in the 20s...hmmm...maybe )
Usually I can keep it in the mid 70s lights on ( a few low 80s here and there ) and mid 60s lights off. RH is 50% at this point due to closeness to harvest and I will be dropping it 5% a week until harvest.
Is 60 cold enough to get that crazy purple going ?
Just trying to make the most of this grow since it will have to last me until Sept...my place is just too hot even with 2 ACs running 24 / 7 to grow during the summer.
Think I might veg a couple of plants all summer under some CFLs, just to see what happens. Probably be huge after vegging for 3 months...I'll need a machete just to get in there...( Insert jungle sounds )
